[edit]Besides looking like a cut-and-paste job, the article has a paragraph starting off with the letter, "I". The article needs cleanup to become more encyclopedic. ----moreno oso (talk) 00:21, 4 August 2010 (UTC)

- CSD. The reason given was A7: No explanation of the subject's significance (real person, animal, organization, or web content. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 00:54, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, it appears you PROD'ed the article according to the creator's talkpage. I knew that before I tagged the article but wanted to see your answer. ----moreno oso (talk) 01:06, 4 August 2010 (UTC)

I believe that the article is informative, it is factual, and it cites major news sources like the Globe & Mail the Coast and the National Post. I am new to wikipedia and posting on here, so I did not do a good job referencing and citing the article the first time around. This time I had better references.
- You have one (that I can see) reliable reference there. That is not what I would call significant coverage. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 01:16, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
Actually, they are all reliable references. Tightrope Books is a reputable publisher (www.tightropebooks.com). TLA is also a reputable company - it is one of the biggest literary agencies in Canada (www.tla1.com). The National Post is a real Canadian newspaper that also publishes its content online. The Globe & Mail is also a Canadian newspaper with a website. The Coast is a Halifax newspaper. Modjaji is a South African publisher (Danila Botha's book came out in South Africa under that publishing company) (modjaji.book.co.za) (http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Modjaji_Books). —Preceding unsigned comment added by GotNoSecrets (talk • contribs) 01:24, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
- TLA is not a primary source as it represents the agent. ----moreno oso (talk) 01:27, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
Okay, I moved the TLA page out of the references section and into the external links section. —Preceding unsigned comment added by GotNoSecrets (talk • contribs) 01:30, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
Just out of interest, but do the citations have to be notable around the world in order to satisfy Wikipedias notability rules or can it be confined to a single country? --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 01:34, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
Re: Multiple issues tags
[edit]My name is Beth Carter. I saw Danila Botha read in Toronto and I really enjoyed "Got No Secrets". Her biography here is a composite of her biography from her literary agent and her publisher's websites.
I have cleaned it up and made the necessary adjustment to the accidental inclusion of "I". Also, I am new to posting on wikipedia, which is why this was accidentally deleted the first time around. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SugarHigh819 (talk • contribs) 00:51, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
- Then, who is the creator, User:GotNoSecrets? ----moreno oso (talk) 00:53, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
- The creator of what? --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 00:55, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
I created GotNoSecrets first. When the page got deleted, I didn't know if I could use the same profile again so I created a new one. (Like I said, I am new to all of this.) I believe that Danila Botha is a talented young writer who will soon become a notable Canadian author. (I apologize for the confusion of having 2 profiles!) —Preceding unsigned comment added by SugarHigh819 (talk • contribs) 00:59, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
Hangon
[edit]I put the hangon simply because the speedy deletion criteria is incorrect (articles that have been previously speedy deleted are excluded from the category you have used) --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 01:02, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
Infobox
[edit]I recently added an author infobox to the page (http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Template:Infobox_writer) but I cannot figure out how to remove the the tag "[[File:|frameless|alt=]]" from the top of the image. Not sure how to fix this. Any advice? --Emvern (talk) 17:50, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
