Notability
[edit]I see from the quotes in one of Silva's books that his work has been reviewed by The Times, Kirkus Reviews, the San Francisco Chronicle, the New York Times, People, USA Today and others - this goes some way toward establishing notability. Barnabypage 19:58, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Biography section a Public Relations Write-up?
[edit]The section under biography as of 17 September 2007 reads like Silva's PR manager wrote it. For example, "Silva burst onto the scene in 1997 with his electrifying bestselling debut,..." Electrifying? According to whom? Burst onto the scene? This section is highly POV and needs to be reworked and probably shortened. 4.249.114.159 12:50, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
Checked Silva's website and the language you quote was lifted verbatim from Silva's website. See beginning of second paragraph: http://www.danielsilvabooks.com/content/author.asp. Quoted language was removed but it's still a puff piece. FrancisDane (talk) 14:50, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
References in Bibliography?
[edit]Fixed a formatting error with the Bibliography section.
Does anybody have references to back the statements in the beginning of the section? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Adamsorkin (talk • contribs) 03:20, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
