Merge of content proposed as part of the Notability wikiproject

The consensus was to delete instead of merging. --Futurano 11:06, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
The International Ballet Studio is an unreferenced orphaned stub article about the ballet group of uncertain notability. So it might not survive AfD procedure. Nevertheless, its material fits the "Ballet" section of this article as the latter is relatively short. That's why a merger is proposed as per WP:NN and WP:MM#Context. As an alternative, the context of the article in question could be merged into Culture of California. --Futurano
*Merge to Dance in the United States as nominator. --Futurano 15:36, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose the merger would place undue emphasis on "International Ballet Studio", if not notable then AFD would be better. Paul foord 22:02, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- What about merging to Culture of California? --Futurano 19:56, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
- My additional Google study showed no reliable references to either the Studio or its named professors. I'm leaning towards deletion now. However, going to sustain the 10-day term for this merger proposal. Some other editor suggested "prod" deletion without talking to us :(, but the terms of both procedures match, so I won't remove either the "prod" or the "mergeto" tags. --Futurano 07:25, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- As nobody else shared their opinion, I decided to change my mind to delete through ProD procedure - to be in consensus with two other remaining thoughts. Removing merger tags and closing this discussion. --Futurano 11:06, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
"The reality shows and competitions So You Think You Can Dance[1] and Dancing with the Stars have popularized dance."
This is completely ridiculous. Hasn't dancing been popular for a LONG time? 154.20.43.25 (talk) 06:00, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
