Damsel (disambiguation)Damsel – It is unlikely that users of English Wikipedia would type "Damsel" in order to be redirected to the six-sentence stub delineating Mademoiselle (title). It is much more likely, in fact, that those typing "Damsel" would be searching for Damsel (2024 film) or any of the other entries listed upon the Damsel (disambiguation) page. — Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 21:38, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, this sounds like too much of a WP:DICDEF redirect. I just want to point out that you didn't need a discussion to fix this, https://wiki.riteme.site/w/index.php?title=Damsel&action=history already shows people being WP:BOLD about it in the past and no discussion. --Joy (talk) 09:49, 27 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In cases of primary topics, I found that it is usually best to obtain talk page consensus, for the record, in the event of future Wikipedians being unaware of any discussions regarding these issues. This disambiguation page was created seven-and-a-half years ago, in September 2016, and has never existed without a primary topic, thus a few comments here leave a brief chronicle for years to come. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 00:48, 28 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
