This article needs a re-write. A lot of it seems very p.o.v. and waffly, the second section has no wiki links and his pre-Chelsea career currently consists of one line.
Duff's Cold Shoulder
[edit]A lot of football fans, especially Chelsea, noticed a dramatic change towards the end of Duff's Chelsea career after he suffered a severe shoulder injury. It could be said that, until this point, Damien Duff was renown for his bullish strength when dribbling. Measures were taken to ensure the injury didn't recur, for instance, whilst returning from the injury he was trained to fall in a particular way and to avoid falling on the injured shoulder. I believe from this point, Duff lost confidence and seemed to lose the power facet of his game. Shortly after, Joe Cole was preferred and the following summer he left the club for Newcastle. At whilst at Newcastle, though he has played reasonably well, has failed to preproduce the same form at Blackburn and his early days at Chelsea. If anyone knows anything more in depth about the injury, such as which side and for how long he was out, it would make an interesting point to the article. Bobbyfletch85 20:21, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
Dubious Information
[edit]Caps and goal figures in the article likely contain European cup/Domestic cup data in addition to Domestic League data (this is very certain based on this user's previous edits containing similar information [1]. Please correct this issue and leave a note here, http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/User_talk:Alfmaster#Footballers.27_European_goals, to warn this person about putting improper information on Wikipedia. --Palffy 21:18, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

Shirt number
[edit]Has Damien Duff officially got the number 11 shirt? Last check, in the matches against Lillestrom, James Milner had the 11 shirt.
no.11 shirt
[edit]Well he's listed on the official club site at no.11 so one presumes that no.11 will be the shirt he will get once the season starts proper....?
Yes it is Bababoum 21:10, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
Taking the mick
[edit]"His favorite food is a carrot stick dipped in Ranch salad dressing. Damien loves tossing salad." Surely that's a joke? Damien loves tossing? 203.198.57.190 (talk) 06:21, 14 May 2008 (UTC)fan

[edit]duff is a dishonest actor on the field. Citation is not realy possible, but looking at him falling without any contact is proof enough. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.132.92.206 (talk) 20:17, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
