Adding images

[edit]

Hi Wikipedia editors,
I noticed that the Daly Waters article lacks an image. It is such as classic outback spot that I think an image would really bring this article alive. Here are three I can recommend in case you are interested:

Thanks all for creating this excellent free encyclopedia, it's great! GondwanaGirl 05:23, 5 January 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gondwananet (talkcontribs)

Now added, feel free to be bold and add them yourself next time. Cheers, Mattinbgn\talk 06:04, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Date for end of commercial aviation

[edit]

(refactored) You mention in the article re Daly Waters that commercial aviation ceased in 1965. I wish to correct that statement, because from about September 1967 until August 1969, I was the Route Agent for both TAA and Ansett Airlines of Australia, servicing their F27 services from Adelaide to Darwin and reverse as they transited Daly Waters MChandler2 (talk) 11:30, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Date corrected with reference "Spirits of Ansett", see History in main article. Summerdrought (talk) 04:46, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
