The phrase "Camp ran as an MP for the Tories", should read "Camp was a Tory candidate". He was trying to become an MP, not an MP seeking reelection. Ken Burch 5/11/2007, 10:43 UST —Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.174.90.55 (talk) 22:44, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Camp had some socialist beliefs "

[edit]

Can we have some evidence for this, other than he fought in the war against Hitler? --The Four Deuces (talk) 08:38, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Camp fought against Hitler?"

[edit]

The article states that he sold war bonds. As a good Tory, he presumably earned a percentage of sales. At least Dief enlisted and was found unsuitable for service due to his bad heart. The article says that he is a "living person" even though his date of death is in the article. Does this mean that he lives on through a voter's list somewhere in Canada? (Another great Tory tradition). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.134.219.91 (talk) 18:01, 28 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
