The opinions expressed by Singh the New Yorker (3/22) article (reference 30) need, in retrospect, some serious qualification. In other words, they have not aged well. The complete misreading of Russian dependence on Western technology and finance by Mr. Singh and Western leaders who listened to him and others with similar ideas is an embarrassment that will echo through the foreseeable future. Addressing the issue from a WP standards standpoint, Singh's opinions amount to primary source claims (describing the rationale for his own actions), which is a low authority category that runs into WP:Undue issues under the current circumstances, with over two years of data with which to evaluate whether or not those primary source claims are valid. 47.208.30.205 (talk) 18:01, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
