Pilgrimage
[edit]I am afraid the Pilgrimage section is badly wrong. The citation is to a map in Toni Huber's book, which shows multiple pilgrimage routes. Of these, two were the most important, an annual pilgrimate route that was 3-days long, and 12-year pilgrimage route that was a month-long. Please see this source for an excellent summary:
- Arpi, Claude (2013), "The Pure Crystal Mountain Pilgrimage of Tsari", 1962: The McMahon Line Saga, Lancer Publishers, ISBN 9781935501404

- It should also be noted that the last 12-year pilgrimage happened in 1956 (the same year as the "Big Map of PRC", in which the Kongka Pass was shown as the boundary of Tibet in the west). -- Kautilya3 (talk) 13:35, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
Religious significance
[edit]This mountain is an extremely important site for religious purposes, which needs to be covered. Please see Toni Huber's Chapter 4. Perhaps Ms Sarah Welch can help? -- Kautilya3 (talk) 13:32, 24 January 2021 (UTC)
Single source
[edit]Editors of this article have to keep in mind that everything shouldn't be referenced to a single source. DTM (talk) 16:25, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
- A scholarly book counts as as many "sources" as the citations it gives. But why are you raising this? -- Kautilya3 (talk) 16:48, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
- I had remembered that there was a template for Template:One source —
This section relies largely or entirely on a single source.
. The single source of course is Toni Huber's book. I had just had a passing thought that everything can't be taken solely from his book. But then yes, what you wrote A scholarly book counts as as many "sources" as the citations it gives stands true. No issues. DTM (talk) 14:28, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
