Too technical
[edit]There is so much specialized vocabulary in this article that it is impenetrable to anyone except a specialist. I made some changes in the lead paragraph to illustrate the type of thing that would help--inserting more widely-known words familiar to non-specialists to at least be able to place the article in a suitable context. When I first saw the article, I had no clue as to what type of organisms were being described or the fact that this genus was only known through the fossil record. Most of the terms need either further explanations (e.g. in parentheses) or at the least links to articles that explain them. If this is typical of other articles in the project, my comments would apply to many other articles too. AlbertBickford (talk) 03:46, 28 February 2014 (UTC)
