Suggested move --> 2018 Dahyan bus attack
This really should be called something like 2018 Dahyan attack since the bus itself wasn't the weapon. Other articles in the Template:Yemeni_Civil_War_(2015) follow this convention. --LaserLegs (talk) 14:46, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
- Should we not we use "air strike" instead? --- Coffeeandcrumbs 14:56, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
- Yeah I'm fine with that, I'm terrible at naming things, I just know this isn't right. --LaserLegs (talk) 15:15, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
- Support Also generally fine with calling it an "air strike" to make sure there's no ambiguity that the bus was not the weapon. Hopefully there won't be any more airstrikes in Dahyan in 2018 and we won't have to add August to the title later. Simonm223 (talk) 17:53, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
- Use "air strike" rather than "attack" or "bombing". It was an airstrike and not a bomb placed on the bus, so "bombing" is not accurate. At the same time, I think that we shouldn't call it an attack unless reliable sources begin doing so, as "attack" would imply intent, which is controversial.--Leugen9001 (talk) 21:48, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
- Comment I have moved the page to Dahyan air strike for now. Discussion can continue, but the previous name, all of us seem to agree, was inappropriate. --- Coffeeandcrumbs 22:28, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
- Comment. As someone not very familiar with this part of the world, the first thing I searched for was Yemen bus attack. -- Ununseti (talk) 00:15, 11 August 2018 (UTC)
This part isn’t in source
“During the mass funeral of the children, many signs were visible protesting against the United States, Saudi Arabia, and Israel.”
Source says nothing about Israel at all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.193.42.130 (talk) 23:48, 1 September 2018 (UTC)
Justification for use of Yemeni flag on Houthi reaction
I put it in as a placeholder, but subsequent review of the main civil war page shows the same flag is used there to refer to the Houthi group so I'm considering that justification for that usage for now. Simonm223 (talk) 17:51, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
