Daegon's Awakening
[edit]Someone wrote down in the main article that Caro most likely lost contact with Blaze at the point he was captured by Onaga's holy men. While that might make sense at first glance, it would mean that the Red Dragon was formed sometime after Mortal Kombat II (Daegon being the founder and all). That means Caro wakening Daegon after Blaze's capture is impossible, as the Black Dragon (known as a splintered faction of the Red Dragon) was active around and before the events of MKI, so I'm wiping that bit of info from the article. Hi. I was talking about the same thing in the Blaze discussion. Anyway in-game informations seem to tell that Blaze do lost contact in that point because in his Unchained bio he says he found out of Daegon's awakening only after being freed from Onaga. I think it is only an error, anyway I have formulated three hypothesis:
1-The scene in MKII background is not in the storyline of that game, but is a scene from the past occured centuries ago. 2-Blaze lost contact after another shocking event centuries ago, before being captured, and he regained it after being freed, maybe thanks to Shujinko's poison if you consider canon that konquest side-mission. 3-Blaze was captured by the holy men on a bridge, but is NOT the scene in MKII (it has never been explicitly said that Hornbunckle is one of that men): in that time he was already at Onaga's service. He was fighting Hornbuncke for another reason that could be: a-He was defending the Dragon Egg from him b-He was trying to escape and Hornbunkle had to stop him
Ok, after all that what is your favourite? --Kombatgod —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kombatgod (talk • contribs) 00:22, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
