- ... that New Zealand solicitor Cyril Croker was a member of the suicide squad? Source: The new councillors were quickly nicknamed the “suicide squad” by the Opposition. Plus page 152 in Wilson (1984): New Zealand Parliamentary Record 1840–1984 (offline)

- Comment: Quite a hard bio to write, with not much decent material at hand; it's largely cobbled together from contemporary newspapers and his military record.

- Looks good overall, with a decent coverage and sourcing, so well done! QPQ has been done, the article is large enough, neutrally written, and well referenced. A question, though: the article seems to cut off right at the point where he occupied his most senior/notable post. What happened after? This merits some mention, especially for readers not familiar with NZ politics or the role of the suicide squad. Further, may I suggest a modification to the hook: '... that New Zealand solicitor Cyril Croker was a member of a suicide squad?' (given that most readers won't be familiar with the NZ context), or even, if you are interested in an April Fool's hook, something like '... that Cyril Croker was a member of the Suicide Squad?'. Cheers, Constantine ✍ 14:06, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
- Excellent suggestions – thank you, Cplakidas. I've added what happened to the Legislative Council. I like the idea of making this an April Fool's hook. Might see if I can expand other suicide squad members accordingly. Schwede66 19:22, 24 January 2022 (UTC)
- Great, then good to go with ALT1: ... that Cyril Croker was a member of the Suicide Squad? for April Fool's. Constantine ✍ 09:14, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
- Awesome. Thanks! Can we please leave this open and I see whether I can expand one of the other suicide squad members to make this a multi-hook? Schwede66 17:37, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
