Lifted off linked site

[edit]

I notice remarkable similarity in this article to some of the content at here (the article linked to at the end of the article)...

Sew what inc allowed their content to be ported to wikipedia on the stage drapes article; the cyclorama is a stage drape and I think this article was created to divide the stage drapes article so this one is just missing ht tag saying it is allowed to be here. In my opinion, the link to Sew What at the bottom is basically spam. Any objections if I delete it? --BLP 14:42, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I object. Look at the stage drapes talk page for more info. KeepOnTruckin 19:39, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies, I didn't know the history. I agree that it should stay. I think that it sets an odd precedent for text released under the GFDL, but this is not the place to argue that. --BLP 02:10, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rename

[edit]

Cycloramas (cycs) are also used for photography shoots... I'm not sure that merits it's own article, but it makes the parenthetical (theater) in the title of this article a bit inaccurate. --Jackdavinci 18:01, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Added Examples

[edit]

I noticed there wasn't any examples of the use of the cyc in productions. I added an Apple commercial, use in The Mandolorian, and a few Broadway stage productions where lighting or cyc backdrop was pretty prominent. Madansno (talk) 02:00, 16 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
