Crystal Ball

[edit]

Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. This article seems unnecessary to me, how can we know any of the information? Most of it is just speculation, as stated by the article itself. --realwingus 10:47, 27 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Exactly. I find it funny how the two articles for Kanye West's two future albums were deleted a while back, even though Kanye himself has talked about the albums and one even has a set release date, yet this album is pure speculation, and it hasnt even be considered for deletion... --Shawn88 13:34, 4 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Adding confirmed tracks

[edit]

I've just added info on "When I'm Gone", the first confirmed new track from the album. Source: http://www.d12world.com/board/showthread.php?t=262945

sucks that it ends with "Just Don't Give a Fuck." am i like the only one who thinks that was one of the worst songs on the SSLP 134.69.166.38 08:44, 5 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Removing un-referenced and POV statements

[edit]

I removed the following statements because they are un-referenced or sourced and are POV statements. They can be added back if they are properly referenced to news sources.

  • (re: When I'm Gone)...and was the most well-received new track from the album by critics.
  • (re: Shake That)...was a successful...
  • (re: "Fack")...The latter was panned by many critics as one of the worst songs of Eminem's career.
  • The title of the album sparked rumours that Eminem was planning to end his rapping career; there has been no official statements to this effect, but Eminem has acknowledged the possibility that this may be the last Eminem release.

Tracks

Section is NOT cited, is NOT encyclopedic in nature, and is entirely comprised of original research. Do not add again unless proper citations have been added to make the article's accuracy apparent.Daemon8666 20:01, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you on this one, because it is a greatest hits album. But not for the pages on all the other articles. 2Pac 23:35, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Whether you agree or not does not chnage the fact that these are NOT CITED - that is an objective fact that a simple disagreement does not fix. Daemon8666 06:34, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

unsourced/tone

[edit]

The song "Fack" is a new song and makes subtle references to the show South Park, by having the word "fack" instead of "fuck" like Eric Cartman of the series does. It also talks about an episode where a gerbil is shoved up Mr. Slave's ass.

That doesn't exactly as come off as encyclopedic. 12.162.122.5 (talk) 14:03, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Song writers.

[edit]

According to this page, all songs were written by Eminem. However, several of the pages for the respective albums dispute this. For example:

  • Sing for the Moment is credited to Mathers, Bass, Resto, King, Steven Tyler on The Eminem Show's page.
  • Guilty Conscience is credited to Mathers, Young on The Slim Shadly LP's page.
  • Cleanin' Out My Closet is credited to Mathers, Bass (also on The Eminem Show).
