Rework the first sentence, might be more easy to explain in layman's term. "have a lower all-cause mortality than non-Hispanic Whites in the United States despite generally experiencing lower socioeconomic status, including lower income and level of education attained" difficult to understand.

I think providing statistics in the background and lead to frame the paradox might be beneficial to help set the scene for the reader. Provide more education on what the paradox is, and why it is considered a paradox.

I think it would be beneficial to provide more distinction between the cultural reasons and the social networks & support, they seem to be arguing the same almost.

For the community context portion it might be beneficial to touch on like how these community ties promote physical well-being using specific examples.

I think the article is very specific and does a good job of highlighting the different cultural phenomena in Latino culture. Defining the different values was helpful in making the connection to the paradox. Breaking your explanation out into the different facets was helpful in the readability. Overall, you provide good context for the topic and cover the details really well! I think the way you structured the article is very good. It would be helpful to make the writing a little more accessible to the average reader- you can get the meaning of terms like upward/downward comparisons and social capital from context, but adding a clear explanation would be more effective. I think you could also change the wording in the second to last sentence from taking the findings "with a grain of salt" to something a little more objective, like simply "it is still important to note that...".
