Problems

[edit]

Not that happy with this. I was expecting to find better on-line sources. Even the ever-reliable Indy let me down. Couldn't even find a mention of her death which I assume must have happened around 1999.Tigerboy1966 (talk) 23:53, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't we have an article about actual Culture Vultures?

[edit]

I came here looking for a good definition of the term "Culture Vulture". Obviously "Culture Vulture" leads to this article about a racehorse. "Culture Vultures" is about an album of that name by a band nobody listens to, called Orson, and incidentally, "Culture Vulture (album)" leads to an album by Jesus Jones who I was very surprised to find still exists, makes albums, and perform concerts.

BUT WHAT THE HELL IS A CULTURE VULTURE? Don't make me go to multiple online dictionaries and try to cobble together a working knowledge. WIKIPEDIA MUST CONTAIN ALL INFORMATION, so that someday it, like the fictional Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (the actual Guide, not the real-life series of books), can claim "Wikipedia is comprehensively accurate. Reality, however, is often in error." [That was a paraphrase, sorry.]
