It is well-known in the scientific community that Toxorhynchitinae is a major subfamily of Culicidae. Yet it's still under the subfamily Culicinae. I've recently edited the subfamilies of the mosquito wiki, but I'm yet to be sure if I should also edit the Toxorhynchites page. Proffypaul (talk) 16:10, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
