@Netherzone: The source: for La Cueva Pintada article is coming from the California State Military Museum and their URL www.militarymuseum.org is listed on the Wikipedia article. There email address is history@cmd.ca.gov. Is this one not reliable website and source? Greg Henderson (talk) 18:14, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Good to know. I'm sure you will be able to find a solid source for The Salinan Native American tribe lived along the Salinas River, encompassing present-day Monterey County and San Luis Obispo counties. that was removed along with one of the low quality sources, maybe in an anthropological book or journal article. It was an interesting aspect of the article. Netherzone (talk) 20:16, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

WP:GEOFEAT applies to heritage-listed buildings

[edit]

The issue about Notablity was covered in this deletion nomination discussion for Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/27–29 Fountain Alley. The discussion says: WP:GEOFEAT, which says Artificial geographical features that are officially assigned the status of cultural heritage or national heritage, or of any other protected status on a national level and for which verifiable information beyond simple statistics is available, are presumed to be notable. Being on the NRHP, this passes WP:GEOFEAT. Greg Henderson (talk) 17:40, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reply - I have created a Draft:Cueva Pintada (disambiguation) page to handle this. Once this page has been reviewed and accepted it can be used in conjuntion to the Cueva Pintada (disambiguation) information for the article. Greg Henderson (talk 10:17, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Reply #2 - Please see WP:GEOFEAT, "Artificial geographical features that are officially assigned the status of cultural heritage or national heritage, or of any other protected status on a national level and for which verifiable information beyond simple statistics is available, are presumed to be notable." Presumed doesn't mean guaranteed; all article subjects must be shown to meet WP:GNG at a bare minimum. Left guide (talk) 00:50, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
