"Venice of the air"
[edit]Any citation on "Venice of the air"? The only online use of this phrase I can find is a sonnet by Paul Hamilton Hayne, 1830-1886, and he is clearly talking about a cloud formation, not a city. -- Jmabel | Talk July 2, 2005 03:31 (UTC)
I added the template as the hanging houses section seems to offer opinion on the city which is not attributed to anyone and is not backed up by sources. Could someone find where the information in that section was retrieved from and add appropriate references? It Is Me Here (talk) 22:08, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Hi It Is Me Here
I am the actual editor of this page. This text comes from an former contributor to this page devoted to Cuenca, Spain.
I can see this text is not describing the Hanging Houses but including personal opinions, partially shared by me but not underpinned by facts/quotes/etc.
I will try to correct this soon.
Conquered or liberated

Size comparison
[edit]With 17,061 km2, Cuenca is not “being almost as large as countries like Slovenia or Montenegro,″, but is actually roughly 25% bigger than Montenegro (13,812 km2). Their closest matches worldwide are Kuwait and Swaziland. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.2.69.128 (talk) 11:37, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
