A picture would help this page.

Does anyone know why it is called cuckmere haven? Chloe.
Location
[edit]At the moment the first block of text states:
Cuckmere Haven (also known as the Cuckmere Estuary ) is an area of flood plains in Sussex, England where the river Cuckmere meets the English Channel between Eastbourne and Seaford.
Surely it would be better to mention it was in East Sussex rather than just Sussex? (81.101.83.45 (talk) 09:38, 18 September 2008 (UTC))
I've added a link to my photo-journal website which is covering some major geographical changes to the Cuckmere Estuary over the coming few years. This is not a profit making venture, I'm simply documenting the flooding of the valley as a result of the withdrawal of maintenance of the flood defences and I feel that this is worthwhile link from the Wikipedia Cuckmere Haven page. As the project progresses I will be contributing high resolution public domain images from my gallery for direct inclusion in Wikipedia. If you have any concerns over my inclusion of this link please let me know. --Slinq —Preceding unsigned comment added by Slinq (talk • contribs) 23:22, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Engaging in long walks
[edit]Can you "engage in" a walk? Feels like clumsy phrasing to this native speaker. Usually walks are "taken". 195.213.119.121 (talk) 20:29, 11 September 2023 (UTC)
