Adding Lumberyard to the engine offshoots
[edit]It would be great to have the images updated to show Lumberyard breaking off the engine like Dunia is shown. Also a section on pioneering developments or breakthroughs, emphasizing CryEngine's role in shaping the field of runtime computer graphics. There are multiple features that many high fidelity modern engines have today that were pioneered in CryEngine. (SSAO, temporal AA, normal maps, alembic geometry caches, destructible foliage, tangent update for facial performance, etc) Dr pangloss (talk) 09:47, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
Features
[edit]there are no specifics on the features of each version of the cry engine, just a non-specific list of features that don't mean anything. this page should be split into one for each version of the engine, just like with id tech 2, id tech 3, etc. 186.1.233.1 (talk) 21:41, 11 February 2025 (UTC)
