Is there a reason why Western Albemarle High School does not have its own article?RebelAt 18:43, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As it is, there's not much information about Western on the Crozet page itself, besides the bomb plot. I wouldn't mind seeing a separate page for Western, but I'm not sure what could be added. G Rose 18:07, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I believe a history of the school, perhaps principles, courses (like Latin), notable expansions (like the addition of a gymnasium several years ago, the new baseball field?), and the like could do for content. Pictures of the school and sports complex could be added (these I can secure in about a month or so, if no one else can do so). Move the news about the bomb plot to the new page as well and you have a relatively workable article. I've been working on a draft ("draft" operative word here) for the article in my sandbox here, feel free to look it over.~ The Rebel At ~ 15:58, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I believe the article for CHS offers a good example of what can be done.~ (The Rebel At) ~ 18:04, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Avast, I restored the article and added content here!.~ (The Rebel At) ~ 19:23, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Main photo

[edit]

Is there anyone who could get a decent photograph to display at the top of this article? It would be nice to have something besides the Virginia map with the dot on it, so that at first glance the article wouldn't just look like every stub geographical article on the website. I used to live out there, but right now it's a bit out-of-reach for me.

Perhaps someone could get a shot of the barber shop/dentist/retirement home area looking north on Rt. 240, or maybe a shot with a combined view of the Crozet Pizza shop area and the Dairy Queen intersection. We need a free-use image of the Crozet Pizza building anyway, in order to replace the existing copyrighted image.

Many thanks to anyone who can get photos! --G Rose (talk) 08:17, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Next time I'm in the area (possibly end of the week), I'll try and snap something suitable. ~ (The Rebel At) ~ 00:36, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
