Film Version

Has there been any further word on the film version of the crooked house? Is there a release date as the article mentions 2012, this section require updating, would anyone mind if I looked into this and updated the article? I suspect that the plot would have to be heavily rewritten in a film, not just because so many people have read the book but because a plot where a self-obsessed, pampered twelve-year old girl murders her grandfather would be really hard to stomach for mainstream audiences today. 195.67.149.170 (talk) 11:02, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

With a detective thriller, the name of the murderer should not be revealed without a warning tag. With fiction in general, I don't see the need for exhaustive plot details. I think an outline summary is sufficient. Valetude (talk) 22:39, 21 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
