Help with systematic name
[edit]I got confused about the systematic name of this compound and its relatives. Since it is an anion, I suppose that a good semi-systematic name would be 3,5-bis(dicyanomethylene)croconate; is that OK? (The squarate relatives have been named that way.) But how does one name such resonating-structure anions in the IUPAC scheme? Thanks, and all the best, --Jorge Stolfi (talk) 02:41, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
