Hong Kong

[edit]

Bs1jac Why are you writing HK and not HKG for Hong Kong? Since The IOC code of HongKong is HKG and also the cricket association is written as  Hong Kong. Thus the abbreviation should be HKG Kumarpramit (talk) 08:13, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Kumarpramit We always use HK for Hong Kong for cricket series, but I guess because this is an IOC related event i have no strong feeling either way. One of those cases where cricket normals, is different to multisport event normals. Bs1jac (talk) 12:42, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Note that  Hong Kong (crw HK) also works and is most commonly used in cricket pages. It really doesn't matter which code is used in the template. For debuts, umpires, etc, where the letters are visible, I have no strong opinion for this page, given that it is an IOC-affiliated event. Bs1jac (talk) 15:01, 20 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Rainout in bracket

[edit]

rainout is needed you cannot leave blank and keep to the readers how Pakistan or india women qualified to semifinals. They need to know seeding things. Never happened in cricket but walkover happens in sports like football so comparable. Don't remove this or else discuss this in talk page this thing is informative to readers and takes less space in my opinion keep this here 122.187.144.98 (talk) 02:56, 22 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
