Music
[edit]Hi, folks! Just a quick heads up: I'm planning a modest addition to the "Music" section of this page, filling in a little extra detail (both historical and contemporary) about Cremona's violin scene. Working on a draft in my sandbox page, so if you're interested, feel welcome to visit/comment there as I work. Joshua Gramley (talk) 04:24, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
Cuisine
[edit]I would like to suggest to add a section Cuisine telling about the local specialties (torrone, cotechino, mostarda). --Ithunn (talk) 06:37, 6 October 2010 (UTC)
- ...A little trivial, perhaps, but I've located information in a peer-reviewed journal which seems to confirm that Torrone has its roots in the wedding scene described here in the article (heretofore attributed only to local legend). If no one is opposed, I'll update with my source (and some minor edits to the sentence in question) Joshua Gramley (talk) 07:41, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
Peacock Tag Discussion
[edit]I removed the "peacock tag" as it's use and placement seems completely over the top considering the content, tone and focus of the article. There is nothing in this article about a place that does not exist in the vast majority of similar entries, and it does not seem to violate or abrogate the rules that can produce a "peacock" tag. Please do not change or place the tag back this article with this highly provocative tag without discussing it here and a consensus being reached (and please remember a consensus is not just you saying it and agreeing with yourself). I simply do not see any reasonable or rational justification for using the "peacock" tag in, with or for this entry. The Moody Blue (Talk) 21:04, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
