Civil War damage

There is no mention in the Historic England listing or any where else that I can see, of the property being damaged in the Civil War. Does anyone have a source for this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by RichWA (talk • contribs) 17:36, 16 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This states that the estate was seized, presumably by Parliamentarians seeing as Lawrence's son was actively assisting the Royalists. However, it doesn't mention whether the house was damaged. PaleCloudedWhite (talk) 22:28, 16 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
