Probable COI
[edit]WP:Help desk#adding a jpg from my own files seems to indicate that Mufeng329, who originally created this article, is in fact Craig Sheppard. A lot of recent edits have been from a particular IPV6 address, which I suspect is the same editor not logged in. --ColinFine (talk) 10:35, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
Disclosure: I have a connection to Craig Sheppard (he is one of my wife's past teachers) but not a close personal relationship. I heard about the issues with this page through my wife and made some edits to help address some of those issues, mostly adding references and a couple of neutral point of view edits. --JonathanAldrich 3 September 2015.
Notability
[edit]Under Wikipedia's "criteria for notability of musicians and ensembles", in my opinion Craig Sheppard is notable for at least the following categories:
- Being the subject of multiple articles, including a couple cited on the page (I'll try to add a couple more citations in the next week, by 10 September 2015)
- Has released two or more recordings on a major record label (both EMI and Sony)
- Has won second place in a major music competition (the Leeds)
