The content of this article seems to be a good-faith WP:CFORK of that of Herding dog. The main article is not large enough to warrant splitting off individual terms. (Was drawn to this as outside opinion on WP IRC channel) — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK18:49, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Agree with merge-and-redirect to Herding dog. The original redirect from this page, to Border collie, was too specific, but redirecting to Herding dog seems just about right, especially considering that this article contains a lot of content copied over from Herding Dog to begin with. Another alternative would be to make Cowdog a disambiguation page linking to the various breeds of herding dog that specialize in cows, if any. Disclosure: I asked on IRC for someone to take a look at this situation, and H3llkn0wz volunteered. The result of them checking the articles out was this merge proposal, which they made based on their own judgment. keɪɑtɪk flʌfi (talk) 18:58, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I agree. The Cowdog page was originally redirected to the Border Collie page. It was an error on my part to create a separate page rather than redirect it to Herding Dogs.Eynsteinn (talk) 19:08, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
