Song list

[edit]

I put the song list into 3 columns, but I know that everyone's browser makes the page look different. Does this look OK on everyone's screens? If it looks bad, we can go back to 2 columns.... -- Ssilvers (talk) 15:28, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just checked on my laptop - looks excellent. En passant, I keep seeing references in GA/FA reviews to putting references in columns, with mentions of reflist|3 and reflist|2 but when I experiment with these the previews still list the refs in one long column. Any thoughts? Tim riley (talk) 19:01, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure I saw an FA discussion to the effect that reflist|2 is good, but reflist|3 or more is verboten. -- Ssilvers (talk) 20:04, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

So did I - but I experimented with both and I still got just one long column. Tim riley (talk) 21:17, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, many browsers just show it as one column, but some browsers show the columns, and for those, more than two columns is too much for the reflist. I think if you use Firefox you can see the columns. I use IE, and I only see one column. Best regards, -- Ssilvers (talk) 06:26, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
