- "...spending most of their time escorting French troop convoys from North Africa and covering the Otranto Barrage." → escorting troops from North Africa to?
- Related to above, later on in the history section, this is never mentioned (maybe I am missing it). It either needs to be mentioned, or it should have a citation attached in the lead.
- I did the usual light ce, and also re-arranged a few sentences.
- "The Courbets were longer than their predecessors..." → Perhaps it would be useful to include some of these predecessors ("... such as the (insert ship name) and (insert ship name)..."). You do this in the next sentence.
- The list under the subheading of "postwar modernization" would probably be better incorporated as text with a standard sentence structure. Lists are oftentimes considered better than text by certain publishers, but I think Wikipedia editors prefer paragraph structure.
- Images check out.
- Referencing looks good.
- The link to "Parsons" may need to be disambiguated.
