Coca-Cola commercial?

[edit]

I've put in a Citation Needed tag re the song "Country Girl" being utilized in a Coca-Cola commercial: I'd suggest that an editor has confused "Country Girl" - which Dottie West wrote with Red Lane - with West's 1972 song "I'm Just Your Country Girl" which West wrote with Billy Davis.

With no followup on the above - entered January 10 2103 - I'm deleting the reference to the track Country Girl being used in a Coke commercial. That it was I'm Your Country Girl may be verified at Billboard vol 78 #31 (July 29 1972) p.37.--Cherrylimerickey (talk) 19:58, 21 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Okay - it's all clear now: Country Girl wasn't a Coca Cola jingle but it was the song that got West her gig writing Coke jingles: I've noted that with source.--Cherrylimerickey (talk) 20:36, 21 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
