Say what it is

This article starts, "A cotyledon is a significant part of the embryo within the seed of a plant." That sentence doesn't actually tell the reader what a cotyledon actually is. Kaiserkarl13 (talk) 23:26, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
