Creation
[edit]This article was created because the little discussion in corrugated fiberboard was too limiting. This article expands on that discussion and allows room for editors to have more input on this subject. Your input is welcome. Rlsheehan (talk) 23:27, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
Corrugated box in computing
[edit]A bit of trivia - the design of corrugated box is also used in computing as a part of computer icon of an installer application.

Major deletions
[edit]An editor had made major and damaging deletions to the article, asking for citations on even non-controversial and obvious material. I have started to restore some material and have added several more citations. With 30 citations now, its almost to the point of citation bombing, . I will continue to restore and improve this article. Constructive input from other editors is always welcome. Pkgx (talk) 14:01, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
- The same editor had deleted many relevant pictures, some in galleries. WP:NOTGALLERY was cited but that does not prohibit graphics related closely to the article. The discussion in WP:GALLERY clearly allows and supports galleries. The Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Images says:
- Images must be significant and relevant in the topic's context, not primarily decorative. They are often an important illustrative aid to understanding.
- Strive for variety.
- A governing project for this article is Wikipedia:WikiProject Containers which says:
- All articles about containers should be illustrated with high quality images.
- Pictures of boxes help show readers the variety of box designs and are a valuable part of the article. Pkgx (talk) 17:32, 9 May 2023 (UTC)
The article now has 26,157 bytes and 38 citations. Pkgx (talk) 00:24, 12 May 2023 (UTC)
