Eugene Cornwell

[edit]

For your consideration... There is no evidence that Eugene Cornwell was ever a blacksmith. He was a graduate of Cornell University and after graduating he was hired by his father to run Keystone forge. It appears that the founders of Cornwell quality tools, led by J Frank Kemmerline, used his name and elected him to the board of directors in exchange for the use of his alloy process. His involvement with Cornwell quality tools only lasted a short time and he the rest of his life as an engineer with Sylvania. 2600:6C42:7400:308B:E92D:EA16:CC54:6381 (talk) 23:26, 19 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
