Corey Perry was not born in Peterborough.

[edit]

Countless sources show his birthplace as Peterborough... He was born in New Liskeard and raised in Haileybury (aka Temiskaming Shores) and moved to Peterborough in his childhood. Corrected this on the article, see also his OHL player page to confirm this. 209.105.207.181 (talk) 08:17, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

http://www.ontariohockeyleague.com/roster/show/id/3446 doesn't currently list a place of birth, but http://olympic.ca/team-canada/corey-perry/ states New Liskeard. http://www.nhl.com/ice/player.htm?id=8470621 has Peterborough. Until there's more clarity, I've removed Peterborough from the article. -- Jeandré, 2013-12-30t11:05z
