Corey Hill's record

[edit]

The reference at http://www.theultimatefighter.tv/bios/hill.html contradicts the reference at http://www.ufc.com/index.cfm?fa=news.detail&gid=5799. The former lists Hill's record at 4-0; The latter states: "Corey Hill, who confessed to his coach that he wasn’t 4-0 in professional mixed martial arts, but 2-0 in amateur action." would indicate an 0-0 professional record. It seems that the UFC was under the impression at one point (perhaps at the time of the creation of the first reference) that Corey Hill did have a 4-0 record. How should we resolve this difference in the article? Sancho 18:50, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I went by what the source said. The source said 4-0. I remember on the show Corey said he lied about his record. I suggest we might as well go in this case by what the fighter says, but in the future it might be best to go with the actual orgination's data. Agree?

For sure, in general, it is best to go with the organization's data. This case was a bit weird though... and there are references to support both sides. I was wondering if you thought it would be best to just report the record as being 4-0 or 0-0, or to report both, describing the discrepancy. Sancho 20:45, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well in this case we can leave it at 4-0 since the UFC has him listed as 4-0.

For what it's worth, the "tale of the tape" on TUF always listed him as 0-0. east.718 21:28, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dead or Not?

[edit]

This needs to be straightened out. Either he's dead - in which case the tense in many instances needs to be changed (not to mention that he can't have two fights AFTER he died) - or he's alive and some info needs to be deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.191.117.192 (talk) 21:35, 7 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

His leg was not cut off and he is not dead. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.15.155.169 (talk) 23:16, 7 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
