Flight number

[edit]

Does anyone have information about which flight this Sikorsky was operating at the time of crash? AAQ063 perhaps? 193.167.197.35 08:19, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I tried to go through both the Estonian and the English preliminary accident investigation reports that were published a few weeks ago, but they doesn't mention the flight id at all. --MoRsE 15:59, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
However, the crash took place on 10 August 2005 at 12:45 local time (GMT+2) and perhaps one can figure out which one it was from this page? --MoRsE 16:03, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This appears to be a schedule more recent than the crash. You might want [1] instead.
According to this, the flight scheduled to depart from Tallinn in 12:30 was numbered AAQ103. Also note that in August 2005, DST applied in both Estonia and Finland, so timezone was UTC+3. Digwuren 17:40, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Eesti Ekspress' human interest story regarding people killed in the incident confirms the flight number as AAQ103. Digwuren 17:41, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So the other option for the article title is Copterline Flight 103. (as AAQ is the code for Copterline). Which is better? --Pudeo 10:52, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm changing the article name per Wikipedia:WikiProject_Aviation/Aviation_accident_task_force#Accident_article_naming_conventions . Also, while the "Flight xxx" is not particulary popular in Finnish (sources), it is used in Estonian for example [2] Lend AAQ103. --Pudeo 11:00, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
