Proposed merge with Pescara Grand Prix

[edit]

As far as I can see, the Coppa (sensu stricto) only ran before WWII. After the war, as the article already states, the race was renamed the Circuito di Pescara, apart from in 1955 when it didn't run, and 1957 when it formed a round of the F1 World Championship and also went by the name of the Pescara Grand Prix. In all these years the race numeration (i.e. XXIV Circuito di Pescara etc.) continued the sequence carried over from the pre-War Coppa races. In light of this I think that it is fair to merge the two pages onto this one, and reword the introductory line to fully highlight the name variation through the years. As nobody else seemed interested in this discussion, I went ahead with the merger. Pyrope 11:28, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This bot has detected that this page contains an image, Image:Circuit_Pescara.png, in a raster format. A replacement is available as a Scalable vector graphic (SVG) at File:Circuit_Pescara.svg. If the replacement image is suitable please edit the article to use the vector version. Scalable vector graphics should be used in preference to raster for images that can easily represented in a vector graphic format. If this bot is in error, you may leave a bug report at its talk page Thanks SVnaGBot1 (talk) 14:30, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
