Necessity of Show List
[edit]Is the detailed listing of shows and their synopses really necessary or significant? Crimson667 (talk) 23:07, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
In the absence of any objection or further comments, I trimmed down the listing to be more concise. Crimson667 (talk) 22:17, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
AT&T Dispute
[edit]This seems like a one-time event that isn't all that significant in the overall history of Cooking Channel. Is it needed? Crimson667 (talk) 23:09, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
Removed the section since it's not relevant in the big picture. Crimson667 (talk) 22:18, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
Merge proposal
[edit]I propose that Fine Living Network be merged into this article, as both articles are not that big in size and this channel replaced it back in 2010. 2601:8C:4001:DCB9:556A:9A28:7A64:3450 (talk) 16:28, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
- Merge. Cooking Channel should be merged with Fine Living Network then moved to Cooking Channel give the longer edting history. The two channels are related as one preceded the other and are still the same type of channel, life style, just going from a broader topic to a narrower one. Spshu (talk) 14:20, 2 August 2017 (UTC)
- I'm having second thoughts. The Fine Living Network versions in other markets were:
- not all replaced with Cooking Channel,
- one still exists
- none are stand along notable. So possible merge all Fine Living into the Fine Living Network article. We could still merge Cooking Channel into the article as a section (subarticle) with redirect. Spshu (talk) 18:03, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
