notability
[edit]I have removed the notability tag after expanding the article and attaching more sources. Google scholar reveals a plethora of information related to this organization. Unfortunately some of the most promising looking material is behind paywalls. Also, for some reason I can't seem to get any of the links to Alaska state government documents to load at the moment, hopefully this is a temporary problem. Anyway, I think four refs is pretty good for such a brief article. Beeblebrox (talk) 21:54, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
Recent "updates" reverted
[edit]I've reverted almost all of the recent edits to this article that were labeled updates. It's great to have an additional picture, and I note that the official website had moved, but referenced and linked information was replaced with a promotional-sounding and unreferenced blurb that gave less information to the reader - for example, the original text made clear that it is not "unique", and explained the historical context - and closed with a very unencyclopedic and promotional sentence: "Please contact CIAA at 907-283-5671 if interested in a hatchery tour or other educational activity." The earlier version was better suited to an encyclopedia; I tweaked it a tiny bit and divided it into paragraphs. Yngvadottir (talk) 21:39, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
