Wasn't the first season of Dukes of Hazzard filmed here?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.107.145.215 (talk) 23:19, 22 October 2006

This place used to be a much better place to live. Did it not? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.96.106.47 (talk) 17:36, 16 February 2007
- Answer: Some would say yes and some would say no. You'd need to be more specific with your question. On the one hand it's grown an awful lot. On the other, the schools have gone downhill from 15 years ago. So it depends on what you're looking for.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.234.68.75 (talk) 14:48, 25 June 2007
- I would certainly say it has declined. Since the mass migration from the North (Detroit, Baltimore, New York) and Dekalb county, crime has skyrocketed. Violent crime too, the Rockdale citizen has no trouble finding stories that bleed these days. It is pathetic to see what this town has become.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.224.138.207 (talk) 02:35, 16 July 2007
- I didn't realize the crime had gotten that bad. But that's what I get for not reading the local paper. But it doesn't surprise me. I guess the old saying is true, you can't go home again.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.234.68.75 (talk) 19:06, 16 July 2007
- Still, I just ignore the crime, I hear home reposession rates are very high, so perhaps it will just move away as quickly as it came. Anyway, Covington, Monroe, Madison, and Winder are all viable options to move to, mind you they are a sizeable distance from Atlanta. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.219.127.106 (talk) 03:41, 28 July 2007 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.125.106.182 (talk)
