Removed Junk

[edit]

I just removed this from the 1868 article:

"It is just toooo easy to add anything on here....this could all be made up and you probably coppied this and memorized it for you test...dont do that no more."

confusing sentence under 1868

[edit]
Under the section 1868, in the middle of the paragraph, this sentence needs help:

"As the Convention began its functions, bitter factions were formed, and only under after federal government intervention was the Convention brought under control."

lists of names

[edit]

A large portion of this article consists of unannotated lists of un-notable names. Two entire level 2 sections are names only, no text. This doesn't contribute to scholarship. At a minimum, I'd suggest arranging the names into columns (2 or 3), or listing them serially as a comma-separated list in text. They can conveniently be relegated to a footnote. I think just a See also or For further information external link to the appropriate .gov document listing the names would be quite adequate. If any of the names are of otherwise notable personages, like U.S Senator, etc, then remark on the person in the text. Sbalfour (talk) 19:03, 29 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Something should be done. I pared list to notables. Read further ahead and realized that last constitution had people whose names I recognized. Lew Brantley was President of the Florida Senate. Has no article but should have (eventually). Maybe some of the ones I deleted from 1865 constitution were in that category. All state reps and senators are automatically notable. 1861 Constitution

[edit]

The 1861 Constitution changed more than just change "United" to "Confederate." Section should be expanded. Emperor001 (talk) 14:50, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
