Article's name and nature

[edit]

@User:Nick.mon: Regarding your recent move and edits, I have some reservations. It seems like the parliamentary group and the electoral coalition will have a different composition. Indeed, it seems that "United for the Constitution" will be a far-right cartel, while Alternative will not be part of it. I think it is probably better to move the article back to its original name and create a new article on the electoral coalition/list led by Rizzo, Ingroia, etc. or, at least, there is no certainty it. -- Checco (talk) 10:02, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Checco: Yes, I agree. I support the creation of a new article, maybe when it's official that the alliance will took part in the election. Regarding Alternativa, I sincerely don't know if it'll be part of the coalition. A few days ago, Pino Cabras was at the congress of Ancora Italia, along with Rizzo, Ingroia, Donato and so on. Maybe we have to wait and see what will be the official composition of the alliance. -- Nick.mon (talk) 10:38, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@User:Nick.mon: Ok, so please move this article back and, when you have the time, please create the new one. I will help you in this respect. Practically speaking, to the left of the PD and the M5S, there will possibly be five groupings: New Energies (formed by Italian Left and Green Europe), Alternative, the new "United for the Constitution", Popular Union and Popular Unity. New Energies could be in alliance either with the PD or the M5S, while Popular Union could be an ally of the M5S, while the other three will be almost certainly stand-alone lists. Crystal-balling, but quite interesting. (@User:Autospark, @User:Nightstallionnotes) --Checco (talk) 10:49, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I've moved back my edits and I'll create the new article as soon as possibile. Anyway, yes, there're a lot of leftist alliances and lists, it'll be quite confusing, to be honest... -- Nick.mon (talk) 10:57, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks! Luckily, we will know just about everything on political parties, lists and coalitions in 20 days! --Checco (talk) 11:00, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It can be extremely confusing, especially when WP articles about these microscopic "lists" or "movements" are created even before these acquire any interest from external observers like the press. Why can't we just wait a couple of weeks for things to settle down a bit before creating articles and then move them back and forth, merge them, etc.? Just my two cents, Yakme (talk) 11:50, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, no problems, I think we can wait until we'll know which parties or lists will took part in the election. For now, "United for the Constitution" redirects here, maybe we should write a small paragraph about a possible alliance for the upcoming election. Anyway, I've a doubt about the parliamentary group's name. C.A.L. was the original name of the group, which is known now as "United for the Constitution-CAL- ...". So how should we name the article? "United for the Constitution (parliamentary group)", "United for the Constitution", "Constitution, Environment, Labour"? -- Nick.mon (talk) 14:27, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I would just wait for mid-August at least, when all this confusion will be settled down. At the moment, I am not even so sure that such a short-lived small parliamentary group C.A.L. deserves an article on its own. Yakme (talk) 20:25, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I know this is what happens in it.Wikipedia, but things have always been different here in en.Wikipedia. Also announced or proposed political party/coalitions, let alone established parliamentary groups, have their place here. Whenever I will get enough sources and I will find enough time, I will start the article on the electoral list named "United for the Constitution". --Checco (talk) 06:20, 25 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This new joint list will be named "Italia Sovrana e Popolare", composed by PC, Riconquistare l'Italia, Ancora Italia and others like Ingroia and Donato. Alternativa isn't part of the coalition, so I think we'll have to create a new article. (see Affari Italiani) -- Nick.mon (talk) 10:38, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, now the coalition is official and the article is no longer crystal-balling. What about "Popular and Sovereign Italy"? --Checco (talk) 06:00, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I do not think we need a new article. This electoral list still has to prove itself to be worthy of a separate article. At the moment, there is no coverage about this list except from some weird blogs like affariitaliani.it or lapekoranera.it, so I really do not think this is enough coverage to make an article about it. I think we should create a new article when its partecipation to the 2022 election will be official. -- Nick.mon (talk) 08:20, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
