Talk:Conservation headland

I live in the Fens just by Wisbech where farmers are very protective of their property. In the rest of Norfolk, it is usually possible to ride and also to exercise your dog on land that has been harvested or upon which no cash crop is growing or is about to be grown (ie ploughed). This depends, obviously, on the good will of both farmer and rider/walker. On the whole, the system works really well. Out here the idea is the "Get orf moi land" so if you happen to own a dog that likes running about a lot, you have to walk up and down dangerous roads. Is it possible to use the Conservation Headlands? There are several riders in the area and also dog walkers and it would be really good if we could. By the way, before you say "Computer says Noooo", could you please spell out the reason so that everyone can understand it?
