Jet stations in Asia

Thailand is not part of Europe, but it says "In Europe, it operates Jet filling stations in [..] Thailand [..]". Or is Thailand part of the European divison of the company? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.218.231.141 (talk) 19:27, August 25, 2007 (UTC)

You are correct. The Jet gas stations in Thailand are actually operated by the Asia-Pacific division. The article should be updated to reflect this, but I do not want to make edits to it as I work for ConocoPhillips. Stian (talk) 10:32, 21 April 2012 (UTC)

Headquarters

The headquarters of Conoco has been in Houston for a very long time (at least 20 years to my knowledge, and I'm only 20). --Michael 20:26, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

The headquarters was moved from Ponca City, OK (wnere it had been headquartered since 1929. It moved to Houston sometime shorterly before the Phillips merger.

Offshore shell corporations?

The article just got categorized as a company operating out of offshore shell corporations. That may be true, but this is not mentioned or documented in the article. There should be something in the article to back this up. --Beirne 17:27, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

missing source

In 2007, a number of environmental groups including the Sierra Club and the Prairie Rivers Network announced their support for ConocoPhillips' plan to expand its Wood River oil refinery. I'm unable to find a reference where this refinery is supported by the Sierra Club; apparently they don't [1]. Postoak (talk) 22:01, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

Major offices

In addition to the Houston headquarters, ConocoPhillips has major offices in Bartlesville, Oklahome; Aberdeen, Scotland; Stavanger, Norway; Perth, Australia and Singapore, among others. These are major local employers and have a big impact on their local communities. In the case of Bartlesville, pretty much the entire town is built around ConocoPhillips. Would it not make sense to include some of this information? (Disclaimer: I work for ConocoPhillips, so I did not think it would be appropriate for me to edit the article myself.) Spinoff

Company split / spinoff

As noted above, the company recently split into two companies this year, one keeping the current name while the other is doing business as Phillips 66.
