Puffery and other issues

[edit]

Hi @Rejoy2003. There is still a significant amount of puffery and other words to watch in this piece. Just a few examples:

  • Notably, during that same year, he left an impression on the audience with a performance that nearly caused damage to the drum set and left his torn T-shirt as a testament to his fervor.
  • In 1983, he took a pivotal step in his career by establishing his own ensemble, Fantasy, which swiftly gained acclaim as one of the preeminent dance bands of the 1980s.
  • Their performances at weddings and dances were known for their unbridled energy and uninhibited revelry ...
  • Following his departure from drumming, D'Silva wholeheartedly redirected his focus ...

I also think that there isn't quite enough sourcing here yet to establish that this meets NMUSICIAN. Would you consider moving this to the draft space until it's in better shape? Thanks, voorts (talk/contributions) 04:26, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Voorts, thank you for pointing out the issues related with the article. I'll adress with that soon. Regarding the move to WP:Draftspace would be a tiring and waste of time according to me. Could you perhaps give me sometime so I can build this article? I generally follow the quote "Rome wasn't built in a day". If that's alright with you. Sure, but in general, I think it's better to keep things in the draft space until they're ready to go; that's my general practice. And just to note, if more sources aren't added soon, this is liable to be PRODed or AfDed or hit with a notability maintenance tag. voorts (talk/contributions) 04:41, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I appreciate your honesty and concern. Although I have never witnessed any articles related to the Tiatr industry being deleted or AfDed due to the industry being popular mostly in the state of Goa and being published by the local newspapers, however I'll add some refs to make sure the above don't happen. This subject is also the recipient of the state's highest cultural award, "Goa State Cultural Award" for the year 2007–2008.[1] Rejoy2003(talk) 04:48, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
