Ly Tong incident deleted - never happened

[edit]

The cited source was written by Ly Tong himself, and he said that he wanted to disrupt the 2008 ceremonies at the Bird's Nest on 8/8, but he couldn't source an aircraft. The source fails as a RS, and the story fails because it didn't happen. He was in fact arrested later that month in South Korea for a failed attempt to enter North Korean airspace to drop propaganda leaflets over Pyongyang. I think the editor who added this account to the article might have conflated the two stories. I deleted it. Dcs002 (talk) 05:35, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
