"Nass and Moon's article, "Machines and Mindlessness: Social Responses to Computers", published in 2000 is the origin for CASA" -> Wrong. It was already established in 1996 by Reeves & Nass. 217.224.55.56 (talk) 16:42, 4 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Also wrong, the seminal paper was Nass, C., Steuer, J., & Tauber, E. R. (1994). Computers are social actors. International Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems, 72–78. https://doi.org/10.1145/191666.191703 That was the first paper that consolidated the five studies that explored the fundamental tenets of CASA.
